Entrance Sculpture for Blue Origin made out of 316 Stainless and GFRC Concrete. The stainless steel feather with the backing had a total weight of 2,200lbs. The concrete planter was just at a ton. I would say due to the transportation weight limits of our trailer & machinery this is our top weight for projects within our welding and concrete shop.
Grateful to have worked on every aspect of this project from the welding, concrete planter, foundation and also did the landscaping all while staying within the 37 day deadline. Installation was a challenge due to the July heat in Far West Texas.
Test welding segment was done to check heat and speed setting then cut in half to ensure proper technique and penetration.
